What a beautiful holiday season it has been. We have rejoiced much, laughed hard, celebrated exceedingly, and been thankful continually. We are sad to see the season of anticipation and joy leaving; but as a friend was saying the other day – it is also refreshing to begin a new year.
So, here are twelve cherished memories of this most special season. In no particular order…
(When you do recaps – you realize that although you think you take a lot of pictures – in actuality, you miss so many special moments! New Years Eve & day / the complete Christmas Eve / moments in between – oh goodness.)
Christmas Lights!
Once done in tandem with an early evening park stop / Chocolate Shake / a darn good book…
Once done with some yummy Starbucks and the delightful Park Cities…
Science School Christmas Party!
I took shockingly few pictures…but Abi rocked the Cake Walk. Probably her favorite part…
Christmas Eve
Note to self…take the picture before church next time.
Christmas Morning
Happy Birthday, Jesus! What a special few hours. Our hearts were full.
Crafting Time!
Cookies, Crafts…oh yummy.
Oh right, and our elf, Elfiee…didn't know where else to stick him!
Such Special Family Time – Wallace Edition
Small Group Christmas Party
We are beyond thankful for this special group of people. We love walking through life with them. Jennings, you were missed!
More Special Family Time – Zamzow Edition
Baking!
The Heard Museum!
Not exactly “Christmas-ey” but it was a treat to go and we’ll definitely be back! Before those dinosaurs go extinct for the year…
Park Time!
Oh my goodness, with the amazing Dallas weather, there were so many beautiful park days to be had. Needless to say, we took advantage.
So many sweet times with cherished friends, new & old; it is such a privilege to live life and celebrate in beautiful community. We are thankful for 2011 and greet 2012 with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts!
