“He enjoys true leisure who has time to improve his soul’s estate.”
Henry David Thoreau
Imagine this: Donald has accrued too much vacation time at work (we’re still stumped as to how this happened) – so therefore takes the rest of the week off / It is in the low 80’s in Dallas and there is no humidity / waking up at 4 AM to watch the French Open live (I fell back asleep almost immediately, but it is the effort that counts) / driving to the donut shop to get some yummy kolaches / playing and relaxing with our baby / getting to go shopping alone while my sweet hubby watched sweet baby girl / heading to the arboretum , appreciating beauty, and just loving being together / getting the delightful news that Donald’s parents want to come over and watch Abi so Donald and I can go out to dinner and enjoy some alone time since Abi and I are heading to Michigan at the end of the week / enjoying dinner outside and seeing a friend across the restaurant who generously ended up paying for our dinner just to be kind / being with my husband and just talking / being thankful.
